Happy Valentines!

Thought I would compile all my little Valentine touches around the house. Besides St. Patty's, this is probably the holiday I have the least decorations for, but I love red and hearts, so visually, it probably pleases me the most.
Love the dishsoap in the shot there. Oh well real life.

Prim Hearts

I just loved the little frame from the dollar section at Target.

Made this little bowl for my hubby one year for Valentines. I filled it with his favorite chocolates.

Boston Baked Beans catching the light on my windowsill.

Do my red ceiling fixtures count too? Look at the unmatched bulbs. Oops!
Happy Valentines Day!! Already thinking of what I am going to make for our family Valentine's dinner. Hubby and I never go out on that night because of crowds but will probably sneak out for a quiet breakfast that weekend. What are your plans? I always love to hear good ideas for holiday memory making.

I love all of your valentine reds, but my favorite today is that little red tractor on the shelf! It reminds me of my Grandpa, who had a real one.
My husband and I usually go out to dinner, but never on the actual day, because it's way too crowded!
Happy REDnesday!

Love all that red. We just redid our kitchen, painting the cupboards white, and now I'm in the market for red accessories. Keep me inspired!

Your Valentine's Day decorations are so sweet. I suppose I will need to get busy and put some out ~ so far nothing. I do think that your light fixture should count as one decoration!

What a delightful potpourri of red goodies you have gathered together for us this week. It is a wonderful series. All of the photos were great, but I really like the one of the soap. That is the cutest I have ever seen. And the red Valentine bowl you made is so dear. Happy Rednesday to you and the family.

RED IS THE HUE

A touch of scarlet, a bit of red,
Ribbons of crimson around your head;
Everyone looking for color knows
Red is the hue that defines the rose.

So love the Prim cookies and Primitive Blessings sign. Little bowl you made sure makes me smile. It is those items from the heart that are irreplaceable. Hubby and I are going to Biloxi and New Orleans the weekend after Valentine's for our gift to each other. Staying the entire last week. (we are both retired now)but on a budget so this is a gift to both to each other. We love pure, wonderful jazz in New Orleans and my son was at the AF base in Biloxi so we have fond memories of visiting him there. Happy Valentines's Day.
