Little Ladies of Liberty

My husband and I are collectors of well, collections. Nothing fancy, just things we love. Our den is done in blues and reds with a little patriotism thrown in. This is a little shelf above our TV.

I am Polish, so naturally I would be drawn to Polish pottery. This piece I picked up at the thrift store for a couple of bucks.

My beloved red child's chair had to finally be put up high when every child who came over felt the need to sit in it. Must be the color that attracted them.

Long may she wave. Don't we just have the best flag here in the U.S.A.? Nifty stripes of red and white and a field of blue dotted with stars.

As always I have a candle burning in our house. We have two dogs. Need I say more?

I too say, what a cozy little spot! Of course I love red and blue. And guess what else we have in common? My husband is 100% Polish!

We do have the best colors. Love meeting your Ladies of Liberty. I'd be interested in who makes the first one you show. I've a collection of Uncle Sam figures and a few Lady Liberty figures. Would love to add this sweet lady. Love her three little curls. ~ Sarah

I do love little red chairs and I have a couple too. That meatball dinner looked delicious and I do love cooking in a crockpot. I love my yellow kitchen, especially on cold gray days. The paint we used was an old Martha Stewart color from KMart so I don't think you can still get it. But it sure looks great with all my red things. Mimi

I love the little chair! I so ... know about little ones wanting to sit in everything that looks like a chair for kids! I was glad when my gradbaby's behind outgrew my big doll furniture! Love the post ... love the colors and the sentiment. Thanks for sharing.

Your home looks so comfy! I certainly can see why children were drawn to it. Thanks for bringing your wonderful home to Seasonal Sundays.
