Fun with My Big Sis

My sister and niece left this morning and we have had the best time just hanging out. We have been out to eat twice but as is the case when company comes, I cook.

We had snackies when they arrived.

Breakfast in the mornings.

We BBQ'd and of course had to have an all time favorite dessert, The Jello Poke Cake.

Here's the inside after my daughter did a number on it serving it to everyone. We were bad and ate it for breakfast yesterday too. Do you think I ruined all my lightening up efforts in just four days? Pretty much. Well, back at it again today.
My sister is 15 years older than me and like a second mom and I was so sad to see her go. I miss her already.

If you live near your sis, give her a kiss and be glad of it.

So glad you had fun. I have always wanted a sister! But I don't have one.

Hello! I don't have a sister so I really admire girls with big sisters. It's a different bonding when you have a sister.

All the food looks so yummy and healthy. Have a great week!

How sweet to have your sister pay a visit - I love it when I spend time with my siblings - you did a great job being a hostess!
Hope you have a great day,
Kathy

So glad you had a good time with your sister. And overdoing it is really worth it while your visiting, right?

I love jello poke cake, too. It ain't haute cuisine, but it's mighty fine eatin'.
