Maltshop Now Open

Broke out the Hamilton Beach Mix Master for the warm weather. I swear my cupboards are like a time warp up there. This is another leftover from grandma. We love to make malts in it.

It even has the original recipe book with it.

The malt glasses are leftovers from a restaurant my parents owned in the early sixties called the Twilight Zone.

All set. Chocolate is my favortie of course. What's yours?

My Dad had a drugstore with an honest to goodness old timey soda fountain in it. I grew up working in the store and trained my fair share of soda jerks. I'll take a double chocolate with extra malt and a chocolate sidecar please.

How fun! This reminded me of an open house I walked through a while back...the entire basement was decked out as a vintage malt shop. Thanks for sharing! (I also LOVE your accent tiles!)

I think it's terrific that you have so many "oldies but goodies" stashed in your cupboards! And how neat that they're still usable.

Thanks for linking to the party each week. By the way, your new blog header is absolutely perfect for your blog name. It's really sunny and cheerful!
