Blogging Question #5

Okay so be real here friends. How much time a day do you spend on the computer?

Now for me this varies. Somedays we are busy so less than an hour but some days if we are just at home and I get up early and everyone is still sleeping, I can be on up to two hours that day if no one gets up that needs something. I am a very early riser.  I know. Don't judge me. If I wasn't blogging I could get so much done but you know what I did before blogging? I would watch the news shows in the morning so I wasn't really doing much anyway. In my defense I did clean my service porch cupboards today so see I am still getting things done around the house. I have the benefit of three older daughters who are a huge help around here so I don't have to do it all alone.

Some days, none, and then others, three or four hours. I won't be able to do that this summer. We have a small house, and I have only two kids, one is going to college in the fall, so I have more free time now. BUT...I should be spending more time on my art. I need to scale back :D

I work from home and both my work computer and home competer are in my office. Both remain on all day long and I check them both regularly. I spend about an hour first thing in the morning reading through blogs and commenting and posting. Then I'm off and on all day long. It just depends on how busy work is.

I'm on for about an hour in the morning, then check back during the day. Sometimes I get on in the evening while we are watching TV, then I have to ask my husband what's going on!

Jag skiftar från alldeles för mycket tid vid datorn till ingen tid alls. Det beror på humör och ork. Samt tid! Önskar dig en bra dag! Zinnia

I get a lot more computer time in when I need to do a batch of laundry. I can sit in the sun room and wash a batch of laundry while I blog. It's a two-for :)
Have a happy day!

Some days I skip it altogether while other days it's nothing for me to spend hours. 2 hours is not much in my opinion, if you don't have anything else to do. Of course, I'm including all of my computer time -emails, fb, blogging, etc. No judging from the computer potato!

We are Legion, and we are blogaholics. With me, it goes in cycles. Right now, it is so hot outside that I'm on the computer more than usual. Which is saying a lot (or too much)!

Some days I am not on the computer at all, because I am just too busy. But other days, I eat two meals while I surf and I will spend at least two hours on it and sometimes more.
Blogging has been a wonderful outlet for me. I love people and I am a stay at home housewife, so where am I going to see and meet people? On the internet, and personally, I think the type of blog that you and I have, is the safest way to meet people on the internet. Don't you think so, too? I have found that lifestyle and decorating people are very real, down to earth people. If I "meet" someone that is questionable, I just don't go to their blog and I ignore their emails.
Anyway, dear girl, I hope I answered your question.
Hugs, Cindy

I must say that after I log on to check my mail, check facebook, etsy, some blogs and add a post of my own- I'm on too much! Many days the computer stays on so I can take a peek periodically. If the weather is good, I try to be outside, of course sometimes I take the computer to my screened porch! Not good! Many days, I have the computer on, a news channel on the TV, and am working on a painting or accessories and throwing laundry in! I do go to the gym at least 4 days a week, and plan trips where I can take photos for my blog! Otherwise, I could sit in my little studio all day-taking too many peeks at the computer!

Great question! I would say that, given my serious blog addiction, my own blog, and my job teaching online classes, I probably spend more hours online than most people. This summer, I'm striving for balance! I have a lot of things that I want to get done so I'm going to try to budget my computer time a bit better.

Thank you so much for commenting on my blog today. I really love comments and I appreciate your kind words. I can't wait to look around your blog. Have a wonderful weekend!

I would say that I'm on the computer an hour and a half a day! Somedays, I don't even want to log on. Love this post!

Like you, it really varies. Some days I am hunting through my favorite blogs for inspiration and I will allow time to get a way from me. Other days, my computer doesn't turn on. :o)
