Quiet Corner

I am in the trenches potty training this week. I was really feeling the need for a break and some quiet. An escape to my favorite corner of our garden was in order. Coffee and a new magazine in tow.

I can sit and enjoy the fountain.

I love the feeling of being tucked under the trees.

But best of all it is quiet with a view of  my garden.

  4. Thank you Sunny for coming to visit my blog and your compliment about my blanket. I love your quiet place, everyone needs one of these to just exhale and take in new breath to refresh. My place is on my back porch with the sun shades down, where it is cool and quiet most times. There is wicker furniture and a swing where I can sit and read a book or just do nothing at all. Have fun with the potty training, been there and done that 2 times years ago :)

  5. What is that five-leafed plant that looks sort of like strawberry and sort of like poison ivy? I have that in my yard. Your little space is so cozy and sweet. And I love those organization mags!

  9. Good for you creating such an inviting space. It looks like something from a little village in southern Europe. Only better. Good photography, too. Thanks.

I found you at Between Naps on the Porch.

  22. Your garden is such a lovely spot! I had three boys the first was strong willed. So, I told myself I wasn't going to have this "struggle" with him on potty training. I waited till he told me he was ready to go to the potty, not when I wanted him to be potty trained. He was about 3 1/2. Now most people are thinking that is sorta late. But, I thought the cost in diapers was worth my sanity and his self esteem. Needless to say , it isn't for everyone. You have to do what you are comfortable with. But, the funny thing was this little "leader" of a boy was also attached to his blanky and paci. When he gave up diapers very soon after he left his blanky in the corner and told me he didn't need his paci anymore. LOL Each child is so different. They are amazing. Hope all goes smoothly with your training. Thanks for linking this up to HSH!
