Simple Sundays

I am always on the lookout for new ways to simplify my life. Ways to cut time, energy and cost while still doing the best job I can on whatever the project may be. I thought I would do regular posts sharing some of my favorites ideas with you. Just things I have picked up along my 22 years as a housewife and mom that help me keep things in order while keeping my sanity. And trust me my sanity is important in this house of one husband, four kids, two dogs and two cats.

For this first post I thought I would share some of my favorites from the beginning of my blog that some of you probably have never seen. Let's dust off the cobwebs. Click on the link to head to the original post. Now as a disclaimer, I am certainly not an expert on much of anything, but the opposite. I am a naturally disorganized person that is so jealous of those naturally organized people. So I have worked hard and studied and read  lots of ideas to try to find the magic solution to make me organized and you know what? It doesn't exist. For me it is hard work and always learning new ideas to tackle my problem areas in the home.

Great tips. I am a big believer in Tilex, rubbing alcohol, and Lysol wipes. :D

Love all your tips. I will be forever grateful for the "Clean your blinds with alcohol" tip. Keep them coming, I need all the help I can get.

I am sooo unorganized it is not even funny! The one thing that does bother me is my spices, and not being able to find the one I want, having to pick up every spice in the cabinet until I get the right one. I just may use this one, because I do not have a spice rack. Thanks

What an awesome post! I will be looking at each link. :o) I too prefer life organized! :o) Life just flows so much smoother that way, don't you think?
We have always been penny pintchers, but really wanting to tap into "couponing" and I have enjoyed reading your posts regarding it. Also, I just set up a swag bucks account, so far only 31 swag bucks, but I am looking forward to learning how to earn more. :o)
Have a great day.

I will also be looking at those links. I love to organize and it's fun and helpful to see what others do with similar stuff. (As in, all the stuff we all have!) Thanks.

I simplify constantly. Will I ever fall back into disarray. but each time I structured, I am satisfied. Some things continue to function as such in my cupboard that I had arranged for over a year. but in my dressing room ... There is the recurring disaster. Wish you a nice day! Zinnia

Thank you for sharing your tips! I've been in the homemaking game a long time, too (26 years this month), but I am NOT organized. I wish I were! I'm going to try to implement some of your ideas!
