Oddities

While out in the garage unplugging our energy sucking refrigerator, this little oddity fell behind the fridge. I had never seen it before and it must have been tucked away sitting on top. Amazing it didn't break but was just wedged behind it when my hubby handed it to me all dusty. Gave it a spin in the dishwasher and it came out all clean. Now isn't this just the funniest little piece? A price tag inside said $2.49. Should I keep it? Is it too hideous or would it look good in my retro aqua kitchen makeover?

Want to know or maybe you won't want to know something odd about me? I like my pancakes under done. You know, a little batter still oozing out when I cut into them. I know my kids say it is gross but what is not to love about gooey batter? Like cookie dough. Why does it always taste better than the actual cookies.

I think your vase is beautiful! I am pretty sure it is Fenton glass - and I have two just like it that belonged to my mother-in-law. I treasure them. I definitely think you should keep it! (But then, I keep almost everything.)

I love your aqua vase! It is stunning! It would really look great with some beautiful fresh blooms in it that are cut short. I vote for keeping it and it looks great in the window!

I like the ruffly blue glass vase. And I just saw one listed on ebay for $40.00. But you should only keep it if you love it.

Do you even have to ask about the vase? It is gorgeous!
Yes, keep it. Especially if it matches your kitchen.
The oozy pancakes-not so much.
But to each their own!!

I would say to definitely keep the vase. First, I think it's so pretty. Second, it kinda just fell from nowhere, so I think it's meant to be!

Your little blue vase with ruffle edge is Fenton glass and highly collectible.

Not hideous at all. Plus as the saying goes, beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I love the color of that vase! Happy Monday.

It is a beautiful vase and looks to be a Fenton milkglass melon vase. I love it! I have been looking at some on online. As for keeping it, if it were me and I found such a treasure I would definitely keep it. But, like Gayle said, you should only keep it if you like it.

You are like my cousin - she likes gooey pancakes too! Me - not so much but I can munch down on chocolate chip cookie dough.

I hope your week has gotten off to a great start!

I would keep it...has ruffles after all. No runny pancakes for me but I get weird food habits I eat peanut butter in my grits.

The vase is quite charming - but I would gag if my pancake was raw.

I think the vase is lovely,, I love blue, and also think you should only keep it if you really like it.By the sounds of the above comments its worth a bit. The pancakes being under cooked makes me feel a bit ill,, sorry! But we all have our little strange bits,, thats OK,,have you always preferred them like this?

I think the vase is ruffly and girly. If I have a vote, I say it stays in your kitchen. It would look lovely with flowers from your garden in it! I seem to always undercook pancakes when berries are involved. Yummy!!!
