Still Loved

I think my hubby is either the most sentimental of guys or a hoarder based on everything he keeps from his childhood. Below is his beloved Snoopy from his boyhood days.

He sits on our bed as I think it is cute to have something he loved as a boy. I am a huge Peanuts fan and have forced that love onto the kids. It isn't a holiday until you watch whatever holiday special the Peanuts have on TV.

He has seen better days and I believe some dog chewed an eye off at one time.

But as you can see, the next generation loves Snoopy too.

Oh I loved snoopy too. I finally gave mine to Good Will this week. Not sure if they can use them or not but I finally had to let them go. I am keeping a precious teddy bear that was my favorite though as well as a bunny!

How *sweet* I always loved the Peanuts, too. Your little one is too, too cute. I think my daughter's Mister Rabbit (from Goodnight Moon) is going to college ;P

Long live Snoopy! That must really melt your hubby's heart, to see his child snuggling with his childhood toy!

That is so cute. I don't have any toys from my childhood, but I've kept my sons', and now they want them at their homes. I love the memories!

How lovely that your husband's Snoopy is still around and loved. My husband still has his Matchbox cars but of course, you can't cuddle them! xx

Elaine, my DH has that same problem, BUT it's a room full of childhood memories LOL. I found your site through my friend Sue at Forget-Me-Not.
