Last Look at the Colors of Summer

As we head into September and the lovely colors of fall, thought I would take one last look at my favorite shades of summer.

Bright ribbons ready to tie a gift or be used in a fun craft.

Lemon yellows and tomato reds. The combination screams summer.

I think this was my favorite shot of the whole summer. Untouched, the color of the sunflower just popped so brilliantly.

I think this is one combo we will all miss. The vibrant fruits of summer ready for a backyard barbecue.

Lastly, this bouquet my hubby gave has all my favorite colors of summer. Purples, reds, yellows and that rose that looks like a brilliant summer sunset.

Meh! I am not ready for summer to be over, Elaine!!! I am reading your blog, but I won't comment on every single post that I've missed because you will *kill* me, LOL!!! You don't have to email me back with each one, either. I know you are busy!!!

Thank you for sharing those lovely images. :o) The fruit especially stole my heart. Nothing compares. :o) I have a nice little stash of blueberries in the freezer and the other day ate the most delicious cantalope.
Sincerely. Trish

Ok, the fresh veggies and garden food are all great. The vibrant colors are pretty and refreshing, and the sunflower, which is my favorite flower, is to die for. But.....I am sooo ready for fall! Now I will be whining when winter gets here, and it is freezing, and everything looks all brown and dead, but I will deal with it then.

So pretty!! When driving home from Ventura today, I timed it from your area to my house. 25 minuetes. That was with no traffic. I am thinking Prado Park will be a good half way meeting point!!

Yes! All beautiful, but let's bring in the fall! We still have at least one more month of summer here and I'm so ready for it to be over.

I'll be sad to see summer go, but I do love Fall! I think my favorite is that shot of the sunflower too, because of the tile in the background!

Mmmmm. I wish I had that bowl of fruit right now! :) It is hard for me to start thinking fall while it is still 100 degrees here in Texas! I have a feeling I will be seeing those colors for a while longer. Ha. Yay for fall! Thank you so much for linking your post up at Savvy HomeMade Monday!
