My All-Time Most Favorite Candle

Of all the candles in the world my absolute favorite is Country Store by McCall's Candles. My kids buy me one for every occasion that requires a gift. It is such a wonderful homey scent. Fresh and spicy. Like baked apple pie and fresh fall breezes with a spicy note. How is that for a description? I burn them from September through the winter months. I get mine from my favorite store but I am sure they are sold nation wide or maybe online. If you come across one you have to treat yourself.

  1. Mmmm! This candle sounds perfectly delightful--just the kind I love to burn at home in the cool weather! (I just love a warm, cozy candle--there's nothing more homey!) Thanks for sharing the name of your favorite with us.
I just wanted to let you know that I'm sooo glad I found your blog. The cheery header at the top and your uplifting words give me joy to read! I can tell that you have a special home and family that you cherish, and that's wonderful to see.
    Blessings to you all!

  2. Oh, that looks and sounds (and I am betting smells) awesome! I've never seen McCall's candles. My long-time favorite is Mcintosh Apple by Yankee Candle -- I've always had one in my home for as long as I can remember -- smells like home to me :)

    Blessings!

  3. It's wonderful to start a candle in the morning and soon the whole house smells delicious! I'll have to check this brand out. I love Salt City candles, and Gold Canyon. Recently, I've started to use warmers. Love those yummy and comforting baking smells :)
    Have a great weekend!

  9. I just checked out their website and they sell them at Cabela's which is right down the street from me. At least I now have something to enjoy while my husband drags me there to shop for worms and tackle.

  10. This is my absolute favorite candle as well. I first bought the scent years ago back in New England. When I went to purchase a new one, they were all out. I called around and couldn't find another one anywhere. I felt like a junky. lol. I called the company and after talking to many people, I got them to send me four candles. Their policy back then was only to sell to shops, they weren't selling on the internet yet. So that is how wonderful that candle is!! Enjoy the scent that it permeates your home with. Blessings~ Sara

  13. I've never seen McCall's candles either, but my favorite candle is Citron du Sud by Seda of France. But with 106 degrees outside there is no candle burning happening here -- and all of my ceiling and box fans would blow the scent away.

But when we celebrate "Sweater Day" -- the first day it's comfortable to wear a sweater outside -- I'll be lighting the candles and breaking out the hot cocoa!
