Anyone Up?

It's 1:30 am and I am up with the little one who very clearly has croup. Poor baby. She was burning up lying next to me in bed and we got up to give her some ibuprofen. Thankfully that is kicking in and she is munching on a cracker and drinking Gatorade. I am no spring mother hen and have been through this a few times before. I am sleepy but thankful that I don't have to get up tomorrow morning and go anywhere so we can rest and thankful she seems to be feeling better than when she got up. I think I will see if she is ready to head back to bed soon but not before she munches another cracker she says.

Darn it all.... that's scary stuff! I sure hope that she's feeling better soon. It's a good sign that she feels like eating a little bit.
I wonder if anyones ever averaged out how many hours of sleep moms miss in nursing sick kids??!!
Sending you out hugs (( ))!

I hope she feels better soon. I had a "crouper". He used to sound like a dog when he coughed. He was allergic to mold.

Oh no...poor Q! And poor Mommy too! I know the feeling, as I have my little buddy every day while my daughter works. So there are many times when I find myself exhausted and remembering all of the many times I have already done this before! But we do it because we are Mommie's, Grandma's and we love our families. I hope you both get some good rest today. My kids never got that. But I know it is awful!!!
