My Country General Finds

I was a good girl in my favorite store over the weekend. Only picked up a couple of things. I want to go back later in the fall so I needed to restrain myself. It is so fun to just walk around in there and look at how they decorate and arrange. Super talented gals at display. I would love to take pics and share but not sure how they would feel about that.
I have been wanting to get some of these lighted flowers forever and took the plunge. I added them to my rooster can. It lights up the corner so lovely. Can you tell I like them?

They remind me of little butterflies.

Halloween trees now? Yes and I had to get them. I love the colors. Not sure where they will go yet but too early to start the Halloween decor. Right? Tell me it is too early so I don't jump the gun and end of with Christmas out in October.

Just a fun little banner. Hard to photograph. Just should have hung it up somewhere. It is all sparkly but you can't tell from the light in my dark dining room.

So fun. Can't wait to drag out all the Halloween stuff but it is far too early for that. Maybe next week. Just kidding. But seriously I can't wait.

Thanks for popping by, lots of lovely decorating ideas.......I think I may just go and raid the woods for some free nobbly branches to decorate with fairy lights for my fireplace, I do love autumn.

No, no, no, it is not too early to decorate! Get it out there. I put some fall stuff out this week-end, because it is my favorite season. Love the lighted flowers, and love it that you put them in the rooster can.

Oh, I love those lights too. Wish they had some for sale in my area. I've brought out my fall files to get some decorating ideas. I think it's time!

Cute flowers. I am with you - it's too early for my witches to start flying! I will add a few pumpkins after the middle of September however!

Morning Elaine,
Liked your vignette with that cute lil Rooster lamp, and your yellow flowers in that metal container look great, looks very pretty.
Now I have to say I have never heard of a Halloween tree!! lol
They are always coming out with something different that is for sure.

Love those flowers. Yesterday I was trying to figure out how to create a non-halloween tree to put out in the dining room. If I get it together I'll share. I'm your newest follower! Jennifer

You've found some wonderful seasonal goodies for this year. I sprang for some Mercury glass pumpkins at Pottery Barn a few weeks ago. I made myself leave them in their boxes, so I wouldn't use them too soon. As much as I love Autumn, I'm usually completely over Fall designs by the end of Thanksgiving. Each November I think that I never want to see orange again. Thank you for sharing your neat finds. Cherry Kay
