Live Simply

Woke to a very foggy and cool morning. This time of year the fog can roll in all the way from the coast.
I love the shorter darker days. I turn on lamps here and there so the house is more warm and cozy.
Collections glow in the lamplight.

My daughter is sick with a cold so we will be staying home from Tuesday classes. I think a pot of tea and some catching up on household chores are the order of the day.
It doesn't take much to make me happy my friends. Live Simply.

Sure hope your daughter feels better soon. A warm pot of tea would have to do the trick. I love for my lamps to be on when the weather starts getting cooler. Does make for a warmwarm and comfy home. Enjoy

I love the morning hours too this time of the year. Went out this morning and smelled cut grass and mulch leaves from yesterday, love that smell. I hope your Daughter is feeling better soon.

I know this sounds terrible, but I kind of enjoyed it when my kids were ill. We would stay home and I would baby them with their favorites. Very cozy and warm.
I hope your little one feels better soon.

We woke to fog as well. I hope your kiddo is better. I think we might be living complicated but would certainly like to simplify.

Sounds like the perfect day for a hot cup of tea and a warm quilt to snuggle in ;-)

My boys are not well either! Lots of crud going around. Sounds like a good day to nestle in.

Sorry to hear that your daughter isn't well.

You and I must be kindred spirits when it comes to cherishing the simple things in life. It's so refreshing for someone else to appreciate the glow that comes from lamps and candles that make a home that much for inviting and snuggly! It was one of those days here in Ky, too. I've been burning candles all day, on my day off.
Blessings :)
