Thanksgiving Wishes

It is Thanksgiving Eve-Eve and because tomorrow I will be busy cooking and cooking and then cooking some more I wanted to wish you all a wonderful blessed Thanksgiving. Thanks for bringing such warmth and friendship into my life. I am lucky to have got to know you all in some small way. See you on the other side with Christmas lights on.
Oh and I am dying from this show "Last Man Standing" It is our life except that instead of the twenty year old having the baby, we did. The man has three daughters and a toddler grandchild in the house. We have the same age daughters and then our three year old and it is so us. We have had some of the same situations and conversations and it is as if someone visited our house and decided to do a show on us. In one episode the dad acts like a crazy man over something and a parent of one of the daughter's boyfriends acts shocked and he says that when you have raised three daughters (in our case four) then you see how well you do. Whoa, I am getting punchy now so off to bed. One benefit of having a three year old in your forties is that you have no trouble falling asleep and when you do, you sleep like a rock. Some of my friends complain of sleepless nights but not a problem over here. Q makes sure I sleep well every night.

Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family.
We like the show as well. There aren't many that we do like right now, so that says something. I think Tim
Allen can make any show he is in seem like the real thing.
We had three biological kids then out of no where adopted a 4 year old. It was crazy here as well.
Now they are all grown up and we have grandkids. Good that you can laugh about it, hah.

Now I think I have to see that movie! We had kids when we were in our early 20's, but now we have 6 grandchildren & we are in our 60's! We had two of the six for a sleepover Monday night, & you definitely have to be young at heart (a young-thinking body wouldn't hurt either....lol) or they will "take you down!" We had a wonderful time, but now I am in total "crunch mode" to get Turkey Day prepped. Two more of the Grands will be sleeping over Thanksgiving night -- whew! Hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving!

Gorgeous image! I have never heard of that show, but your family sounds interesting. Maybe I wouldn't have all of my sleeping problems if I had had a baby in my fourties! :)
Hugs, Cindy

Happy Thanksgiving! We have 4 daughters, with my youngest being born (at home!) when I was 41. Alas, now (at age 54) the days of instant falling asleep are long gone. My sisters also only have girls, and I was the oldest of 4 girls, and my mother was the oldest of 3 girls. My 4 yr old grandson is the only boy born to my maternal line for 4 generations! (and actually since his mother, our oldest, joined our family through adoption -- I guess technically there are still only girls born -- but our little guy is definitely the ruling prince).

Hi Elaine! Thank you for the Thanksgiving wishes. I know I count you among my many blessings. I like that show you mention!
I am just taking a quick lunch break while I do my first cooking 101 post. I am doing a step by step on cooking a turkey.
Enjoy your lovely family!!!!
