Gingerbread

Gingerbread decor.

I love gingerbread men. To eat and to decorate with, gingies are the best.

I kept my kitchen shelf simple this year. Did not take down my decor but just added some stuffed gingerbread helpers to watch over our baking.

This first guy started my collection.

Yesterday was dark and rainy. We stayed home as much except for some school runs. I turned on all the tree lights to brighten up the house.

Used up some rather ripe blueberries with a batch of muffins. They were so good with a cup of coffee for a late morning pick me up.

  1. I love your Gingies!!! Your trees all look so pretty! And look at you...gifts all wrapped and under the tree. Wow, am I ever behind! I shouldn't even be on the computer! I have a boutique to prepare for on Friday. I will never catch up!!!
    Muffins look scrumptious!

  6. I would love to have sat and had a muffin with coffee with you! It's been overcast and rainy here all day. Sometimes it's kind of nice though, to turn on the lights in the dimness and cozy up with a coffee and blanket!

  12. I usually bake gingerbread men ornaments for the tree but as time goes by they become just little heads hanging there as my family eat the bodies. Gruesome yes?
