Is it Summer?

It is so darn warm here. After going to breakfast with hubby we decided to clean up our little veggie garden in the front and let the little one play outside. I wore a tank top and shorts and was sweating out there.  Looks rather shabby out there but I still have one tomato plant that is giving me a few cherry tomatoes and some bell peppers still on the plants. We weeded and got the beds ready for some lettuce I will be planting soon. With temps predicted to be in the 80s by the weekend. Not very wintery but nice for the kids to get out in.

Still picking a few peppers so I am leaving the plants in until the last moment. Q was playing with the hose it was so warm out there. Thankful for my little veggie patch that provides so much  for our table. I need to keep it up year round with our warm weather but tend to neglect it come fall.

The parsley is thriving and this little bunny just keeps nibbling away.

Wow, where are you that it's 80? It's cold here and they're talking about snow (please don't come here!!!!). Next spring I am going to try to grow some things, I'm really not an outdoor person but I think I could do container gardens on the deck. I'm looking for ways to save money, anywhere, anyhow. But here's one problem: I already have a bunny like yours in my yard, what'll I do about that :)

Happy New Year!

I wish I had some form of a garden to gaze at and take photos of. I really miss that. Where do you get the polka dotted sidebars, Elaine? I really like them.

These look great! Of course we can't garden year round up here in the north, but we're excited to get our garden going this spring after a few years of not being able to garden. Love the pictures!

now that's warm! We've been having temps go back and forth from the high 40s to high 60s, which is really warm for us. Hubby said he saw some dandelions trying to come up ! :(
