You know how it goes. You start decorating and the urge to keep tucking little things here and there just takes over. My crock of red and green rolling pins gets a Christmas towel for dressing. Forgive the cord to nowhere. It goes up to the garland on my shelf. Cords all over really are the nails on the chalkboard for me.
Even my soap dish gets a sprig of greenery and a snowman pick.
A tucked in vintage Christmas post card.
Gingie garland hiding up on the kitchen curtains.
You say you won't put as much stuff out and I didn't, but not by much. I still keep pulling things out of boxes and placing them here and there. It is the magic of the season I guess. My kids have all passed colds down and the little one finally caught it so it has been a quiet week here. Well, quiet as a house with six people and four animals can be.
Oh I love all the extra little touches. They are just perfect. Hugs, Marty

You are so creative. I love the spig with the softsoap.
ReplyDeleteI love all of your little touches. I too said I was not going to put out as much, but then my 4 year old sidekick got me all fired up, and before we knew it....the halls were decked!!! I gave him a box of things I wasn't going to use, and let him decorate his room/play room anyway he wanted. He had a ball!!!! What a life saver that turned out to be! Hope the colds are swiftly finished!!
