Oh wow... I missed some of these. Glad you REposted the links... especially the Electricity Savers..
we also had an awning put on one of the back windows to our house; and man what a difference.
Unlike you -- we do have a pool and I JUST KNEW THE DRAW WAS A LOT. We now have our pump on a timer.
I didn't know about the ceiling fans...makes sense to turn them off when not in the room.
...thanks for the info on energy audits... very helpful, Pat

I'm jumping up & down-can't you see me? I can read your post without the black screen for the first time in months.
I had to check out the cute shelf arrangement post and the pancake tip. Who knew? I wrote it on my box so I don't forget.
I'm looking forward to visiting again.
Hope you have a great New Year!

Love the cherry on top post, and am determined to get some red polka dots for my own kitchen one of these days. I think it may come in the form of Temptations cookware, from QVC, if I have my way of it! I LOVE any polka dots, ginghams, and plaids!... I also love the curtains you had coming too.. I collect roosters and cows for my kitchen!.. And finally I want to thank you for the tip for fluffier pancakes! Can't wait to try them! Have a great day! ~tina

I just love the posts related to your kitchen. It is just so charming. We also had one of those Energy Audits. They are so worth the money. Our home passed with flying colors. We have sunscreens which help tremendously during our AZ summers.
