He Did it Again

Watch out when busy in the kitchen for hours cooking for a party. One's husband may just start decorating and you would never know clanking around in the kitchen with flour in your hair.
All kidding aside, my husband could no longer handle this empty cupboard after the snowmen had been tucked away.

I love it and won't change a thing. Not sure why the little yellow candle is up there but hey it works for me.

My husband would totally be into redecorating my house if he had access to free beer and cigarette mechandise. Neon Coors Light signs and Jeff Gordon banners hung in my living room. Sounds lovely huh?

None of these suprises, he admits freely that he has no color sense nor any other way in decor...lol...
So it is all up to me, he does "man cave" but with some help from me...paint color, where furniture fits the best. But I admit if I need anything fixed or made, he is the "man".
thanks for sharing

Nice job, Mr. Sunny!

I have a little cupboard like that and have been thinking of painting it...right now (and for the last 20 years) it's natural. I like your white. And decorated by the Hubby! ;)

Awe, tell your hubby what a great job he did. My hubby is not allowed to even give his opinion, lol.

Hubby did a great job, Elaine! And he has a good eye for detail. The yellow candle pulls the color in from the surrounding walls.

Hope to see you at Time Travel Thursday this week. Happy New Year!

Elaine, What a lucky lady you are-I'm with most of the gals who said their hubby's would never decorate anything in their home. Mine would probably just remove some of my items. I would love to come check out your whole home cause I love what I've seen.

He did a good job! I LOVE the look of that little cabinet - old fashioned, white, and love the chicken wire! I just found a nice "shadow box shelf" at the thrift store. Brown, heart cut-out on the top, and one section has a little door with a heart cut out, and mesh wire behind that. Not chicken wire, but similar idea. I'm gonna stick sewing and yarn stuff in it. :) My son said, "You don't have any room on your wall!" Well I'll rearrange, and MAKE room, Son! Ha
