Juice!!

We have been keeping a bucket of oranges in the service porch for juicing. I figure this saves me about $3 a week right now to make our own O.J. everyday.

They are just like little suns all over the cutting board.

This is Q's first time and boy she took her job seriously.

Don't tell her sisters but she tasted a few.

Happy Weekend!! Watcha' all doing for Superbowl? We are just staying in and making fajitas for the fam. We made these cupcakes last year for dessert. Not sure what I will make this year.

  1. You gotta love fresh squeezed orange juice, especially with the bad news about the store brands. Love your cupcakes as well. You are always so creative. Bonnie

  2. Oh, I wish I hd a glass of freshly squeezed orange juice right now! It looks like you have a pretty little helper that's good at her job! Way to go, Q! (you may have a future little kitchen blogger on your hands:)
We're going to a friend's house for a super bowl party! I'm excited more about the commercials and food than the game itself! Sarah (the host) is making a big pot of jambalaya for all of us, and I'm going to bring some chocolate-y dessert! I hope ya'll have a fun weekend, too Elaine!!
    Blessings,

  8. Makes me jealous. I haven't been able to drink anything citrus in over 20 years due to acid reflux. Your little one is absolutely precious. And looks just like her mom!

  10. Nothing compares to home squeezed orange juice. Especially when your sweet little one is helping. :o) I bought a bag of California oranges (gosh I miss home!) and have really been enjoying them! :o)
Super bowl will be spent at home. Maybe I can grill some burgers for us. That sounds like fun. :o) Your cupcakes are just too cute! How much fun they must have been.
    Have a great weekend.

  16. Well, fajitas sound good! I spent the most part of my day yesterday just cooking and baking for the big game, and I'm not even sure who'll be here or not! I just wanted to make it special for my son and I, because football games are always quality time for us, now that he's older... Love how cute your cupcakes were last year. I made football (shaped) brownies this year, and I think they came out kinda cute! (0; Whoever you routing for, hope you and yours have fun watching the game! ~tina

  17. I have never had fresh squeezed OJ! What a treat that would be. It is most difficult for us to find decent oranges to eat, and if we do, they are so costly I hardly ever buy them. You are very fortunate to have them so handy.

  18. Fresh squeezed is the only kind I like. You have a great little helper and of course it is important to sneak a taste.
