Sunday

Here is where I am at today. A trip to the nursery and lots of dirt on my jeans.

We headed to the nursery to visit Mrs. Duck.

And the fish.

I was up early and scrubbed my kitchen down to the floor. Boy do kitchens get dirty. Tonight is roast turkey breast with mashed potatoes and gravy, my daughter's request. Once the weather warms up here, we won't use the oven for dinners like these so we have to enjoy them while we can.

  8. I am a wee bit jealous of your trip to the nursery but I know if I went I would have been bad and bought plants I did not need. It has been cold here since Thursday anyway.

  12. I can relate to the "scrubbing" part Elaine. I spent all day today cleaning floors, tweaking little areas around the house and just plain cleaning. Its a lot of work but it is so nice to sit back when its all done and enjoy!

I am soooooo looking forward to our outing this upcoming weekend.

  13. We had roast chicken, which was yum. I can't wait until it warms up enough to head to the garden center here. :)

  14. I just love when my kitchen is clean and I feel like cooking so much more with a clean kitchen too. I can't wait to dig in the dirt. Here in MO we have been having some 65 degree days so I feel like spring is just around the corner...although a snowfall isn't out of the question.
    Have a great Monday.
