Red and Yellow

Last year this time I was finding myself very into red and that vintage green.

This year though I find myself really drawn to yellow and of course red.

My yellow Dutch iris are just gorgeous right now. I hope I have some for an Easter bouquet.
But my heart has and always will have a place for red.

But oh those iris.

Red is a mainstay and will always be in my home but I think for this year I may do some decorating in:

Red and yellow. So cheery. I think it screams farmhouse. Hmm I see a theme for my shelf in the near future when the Easter stuff comes down.

Looking forward to seeing how things come together.

I also love yellow and red.. such a happy color combination.

Our new couches are yellow and red country style couches...I really love them.
Each morning I walk in the living room and those couches just put a huge smile on my face :)

I wonder why we suddenly start 'seeing' a colour and have to have it around us? You can't get cheerier colours than the ones you are drawn to! ~ Maureen

Red and yellow are the two cheeriest colors in the color wheel. They just say happiness to me. I love that darling little stove. I go back and forth between the red retro theme in my kitchen and cottage whites in the rest of my house, but one thing is for sure, red is my fav!

You know where I stand on yellow, yellow house painted yellow inside. My favorite roses are yellow. Our irises at the old house are yellow and are likely 50 years old or more.

I think yellow would go wonderfully with your red, besides Sunny is yellow is it not?

I'm liking yellow more and more lately, too - must be something in the air! All of your vignettes are so pretty. That red and green combination is the best.
