Timers are my best friend. All over our house I have lamps and little lights set on timers. Makes my life so much easier to have them click on in the evening and click themselves off at night. It also means our house looks lived in when we are not home and a light is on when we come home after dark.
Here are a few from around my house last night.
such a soft golden glow your home has, so warm and inviting,
ReplyDeleteYour decorations are so beautiful! The light created is lovely! What a wonderful idea to have a set timer for them. Have a blessed weekend ~

ReplyDeleteI love little lights on in our home at night too. Not an overhead fan. Unfortunately I have to turn on and off all my little lights at night. Do you have plug in timers on yours? Just curious!
ReplyDeleteHi Elaine, I always love seeing your home and decor. We too have lights that come on at night-whether we are here or not. Yours are so cute though. I love each area you've shared, you've got a wonderful sense of style.

ReplyDeleteI love the soft amber glow of lights in the evening. Although mine are not on timers, I have several in all areas of the house.
ReplyDeleteHey, I notice that little sewing machine in your second picture I think. I have one almost exactly like it. It was my Nana's as a girl. She actually sewed on it. I have the instructions and everything. I keep it on display in my sewing room!
Have a great Friday!!

I love the glow coming from your little lights. You are so smart to put them on a timer, so you're not always scrambling behind things to turn them on and off. I don't know why I never thought of that. This is why I read blogs!

ReplyDeleteI set up timers for the lights in the winter months but for some reason take them off in summer. I shouldn't. I need to reset them for the later evening. Thank you for this post to remind me of the beauty of the evening!
