For years, and I am not kidding, I have tried to find a good beach bag storage solution. A place to store our summer beach/swim bags. I had them in a closet here or on the door there but no place was ideal. There are often damp things still in the bags. While doing laundry one day I notice that this blank space above the dryer would be perfect.
So I asked hubby if we had a large hook we could hang on this wall space to keep our beach bags hung up on. Lo and behold, there was the perfect hook hanging around the garage, and the perfect storage solution was finally found. Now damp toys or Q's swim vest can dry and I don't have to worry about dampness and they are not taking up valuable space in our closets.
That's a good idea! I need to find a place for ours. My laundry "room" is also my pantry & there is no wall space. Maybe the sunroom? :)
ReplyDeleteI love the simple things that work. Great idea.
ReplyDeleteblessings.
That's a great idea. I've thought about getting an old fashioned 'coat tree' to hang the bags I make! I need somewhere! lol
ReplyDeleteGreat idea! I have pool bags with the same problem! And then there's the many book bags too. :)

ReplyDeleteGreat idea. How funny-I just bought 2 big hooks today to hang UNDER a cabinet in our garage to hang up the kids life jackets...and hope to store their sand/beach toys right underneath- xo Diana
ReplyDeleteI'm working on going vertical here, too. Hooks will get some of the stuff off my laundry room floor. ~ Maureen

ReplyDeleteWhat a GREAT idea! We have ours tucked away in a closet. This is the perfect idea for us, as we use our bags on our boat, and need a place for them to air/dry out when we get home. Thanks for sharing! (Here from Coastal Charm.)
