Sunny Simple Sunday

Saturday morning wishes!! This has become my grocery shopping day. Q and I head out early and do our shopping for the week. Hope you all have a wonderful weekend. Mine will not be exciting but I will be at home and that I love. Time to share what you have been up to this week. As always thank you for taking the time to join the party.

Knitted Chickens! I want one. Patty's Pretty Things Highlighted her trip to Pioneer Days. I wish we had things like this here in SoCal. Wonderful old time crafts and demonstrations. I just fell in love with these golden chickens.

This Blessed Life showed some highlights of her homestead. I just loved this. A real country girl and her family. Do you know what that is in the photo? Brand new baby bunnies. I have never seen them so tiny. Fascinating.

A corn stalk wreath. Be still my heart. I love this!! Must Love Junk highlighted a recent shopping excursion. Oh the vintage goodies she shared. My wallet would have been in trouble.

And the most viewed was Country Girl at Home shared her simple fall decor. Simple maybe but spectacular for sure. I just love this old stove of hers.

Heaven help me, now I want to raise baby bunnies! Actually I could just run away from home and go live with that sweet family. A friend told me that just south of Dallas there is an Amish community that does a sort of Pioneer Days every weekend. We can't wait to stop by there on our way down south.
Have a great weekend Elaine! Thank you for hosting.

Elaine, no snow yet, hence the contest on our blogs, first snow. I really am keeping my fingers crossed that Connie wins, lol.

I hear you about the heat, we have what looks like a bit of a break coming soon.

Love those knitted chickens, it even sounds good saying that.

Love this party-- thanks for hosting it. I went to those chickens and read that blog post, must have missed it last week. Anyway... my IQ went up reading your blog today. Thank you.
When I read about the knitted chickens... I also read about 'egg gourds'. So you know I had to GOOGLE it!
have a nice weekend. Pat
