Favorite Things

It's homecoming weekend around here. We went to the game last night.

Gotta love the kilts some of the band members wear. We are the Tartans so lots of red plaid. How did they know that was a favorite of mine.

We left in the third quarter but we were winning 36-0 so I think it was safe to say we won.

My girls waiting for me on a Saturday morning. It is safe to say they are spoiled. "Grapes please mom."

Oh yeah, and if that ain't sexy what is? Your man finishing home projects. Oh yes it is going to be a good day.
My daughter and I are off for pedis before she goes to the homecoming dance tonight. Another favorite as she has two older sisters and she is wearing a dress her sister wore so no cost there. She is only a freshman so there are plenty of dances and dresses to buy in the future.

This sounds like some light hearted days at your house, and I know you treasure them.

Have fun! I do really miss all the traditions of homecoming now that my girl is in college. I hope you post photos of her in her dress, I would love to see it!

Elaine - Don't you just love football games at this time of the year - before it gets blustery and cold? Sounds like you had a good time. Enjoy the peds and your daughter.

I love that you included two photos of the marching band. I'm a former "band mom." Both my kids were in the marching band when they were in high school. Good times! Love your school's band uniforms. Hope your daughter has a fun homecoming.

Homecoming weekend her too! I hope your daughter has a wonderful time.
I agree, there is nothing hotter than a man working, I could sit and watch my sweetie all day:>) lol

Football, feedin' the chix, pedi's and checkin' off the honey-do list.
My idea of a great weekend. Well, except I don't have any chickens (:

I many years ago marched on Friday nights to the beat of the band.
It was such a joy to me.
Smiles, Dottie
