Thanks for hosting! It has been COLD here today and yesterday -- highs in the 40's. On Thanksgiving it was 70 and I had doors and windows open. We got one tree up and let the grandkids hang some ornaments -- all bunched on one branch near the bottom of course :-). Outdoor decorations will have to wait until next weekend.

I only wish it were still 85 degrees here! ;-)

I have not begun decorating for Christmas, nor do I plan to until at least December 1st.

Hi Elaine. We drove up here to Big Bear yesterday, and it was 89 at the base of the mountain, and in the 50's up here. So lovely!
Your house looks pretty!

Wow, I was downright startled when I saw your kind mention of my blog! I'm honoured! We had our first snowfall last night and I'm green with envy over your temps. Thanks for hosting such a fun party.

Elaine,

I am certainly envious of 85 degree weather. I still have a few things blooming, but it is turning rainy and cold here. Love your features this week, especially the ice skate vase. Hope you had a wonderful Thaksgiving.

Love your house ~ so California ranch. I have always gravitated to that style. Although it's 85 degrees there, you are off to a good start! Thanks for hosting Elaine.

Haven't started any Christmas decorating yet. 85 degrees sounds like heaven in this part of the world!

I love Christmas lights, but it was one thing I never insisted on my husband doing and he never complained about it, in fact I do believe he was always quite relieved that it wasn't something I felt he needed to do, lol. Our Christmases were always quite simple, a tree and a few bobbles here and there, it just seemed like enough.

Hi Elaine
Just found your great blog, and so glad I did. We may be in the same weather zone -- SoCal, by any chance? Yes, we've had some warm weather this weekend. I'm linking up my Colorful Chanukah Decor Tray Transformation. And now I'm following you and look forward to catching up on your posts.

85! That would make it a bit more difficult to get in the spirit ;)

Hi Elaine, oh wow 85, that's indeed not very Christmassy. I'm ready for Christmas, but in Belgium we don't decorate until after Dec 6. We don't have Santa, but we have St. Nicholas on Dec 6.
