Thankful Times

Last night we enjoyed a wonderful Thanksgiving performance and Q's preschool. Here she is marching in and clapping. We little kids performing is one of my favorite things in life. How can you  not smile. They are so funny.

I am thankful she was able to go to school this week and take part as this was her last week sick as can be. Finally had to get her to the doctor but after the weekend she was right as rain. Below was a shot of  her asleep at the table. Couldn't get her through lunch. The doc says it is preschool and they will have about a good six months of getting every germ that comes through until they build up their immune system. Not sure I will survive three more months of the plague.

Sharing with a favorite thing Saturday at Mockingbird Hill Cottage.

I taught first grade for ten years. Seeing little ones excited and involved is sheer joy. Glad she felt better and could participate in her program. She is adorable!

Oh poor little dear...she must have been exhausted. At least she got to enjoy the performance.

Those bugs are awful, I have my son sick with one today, has been sleeping most of the day...I remember when I started doing Family Day Care, in the first year I caught every bug that came into the house with the preschoolers and my family did too. After that though I didn't catch anything, so my immune system must have kicked in :)

Elaine, She looks as if she is having a wonderful time. Preschoolers love performing, and they love seeing their Moms and Dads in the audience.

When I returned to teaching (so) many years ago my doctor told me the same thing. So many germs my system didn't recognize and didn't know how to fight. I pretty much stayed in the doctors office that year. It does get better.

Have a wonderful Sunday, Bonnie
