Check Trim

Using check trim to frugally dress up kitchen shelves. I fell in love with this economical trim when I saw it at a friend's house. You can get it at any educational supply store or online.

I added some to my little glass front cupboard. I used some plain old scotch tape folded over so I could remove it easily but double sided tape would work wonderfully.

Even the phone station gets a little holiday cheer.

You can see Shelly's most adorable house at Christmas here and here.
Amazon has some darling paper borders. I love this teal and white polka dot combo. Would look so good in my vintage kitchen.

  2. You know what, after you mentioned the check paper I was all over the internet, searching and searching with no luck. Ah, so it's the educational supply store, here's hoping the one near me has it! If not, I'll go online to try to find it. You know what else? I saw your gorgeous Pyrex through the window of your cabinet, that's my favorite Pyrex pattern in the whole world and if I could find more at the thrift store I'd buy every piece, isn't it lovely?! 4. The checked border is for teachers at schools for the bulletin boards! Go to a teachers school shop and they will have tons of different ones!!!!
I have them for all seasons and even Mary Engelbriet sells some on her online site....
They are very inexpensive and fun to use.....:)
