Sunny Simple Sunday

I have been a busy Christmas elf. I am looking forward to a morning at my favorite store, Country General Store. They are having their Christmas open house. I don't need anything but my girlfriend and I are going just for the love of it.

Now onto some favorites from last week:

Cozy Little House shared how she chases off the winter cold with flowers and candlelight. I never ever tire of  her photos.

Pembrokeshire Lass shares her thoughts on living in the moment. Her words are very true.

Looks Like White shared the loveliest serene Edwardian cottage. You have to see the bathroom. My dream!

Hope you all enjoy this first weekend in December now share what you have been up to. Link up!!

I have shops and fairs that I love to visit every Christmas, even though I don't need anything, it is fun to just look. Happy to join your party this week. Thanks for hosting. xo

Hi Elaine,
It's always fun to go look even if you don't need anything. I went to three boutiques with friends yesterday. Vowed to not buy ANY Christmas. I just have so much. Well, it didn't quite work out that way. Did good though, only one Christmas and the other was more of a Winter themed item. Thanks for hosting. Lovely features!
Hugs,
Jann

Hi Elaine!
Thank you for hosting this party!
I have decided to link up our traditional table cener piece in Croatia – Advent Corolla. It has 4 candles – symbols for 4 Sundays prior to Christmas. At every Sunday dinner, family lights up candles; this Sunday we will light first candle, next Sunday two etc… These candles are put out not by blowing but with piece of bread dipped in wine, usually done by the youngest in the house.
I also link traditional Nativity scene placed under the Christmas tree. It is assembled at Christmas Eve by whole family. The figures of Three Wise Men travel slowely toward Jesus' crib untill Epiphany (Jan. 6th) when they meet Jesus.
I hope you will like it!
