Guess where I went today?

A place with lots of peepers. I shall introduce them very soon. They are in need of a good photo shoot they are so darn cute!! I brought home two.

I know I gave away two last year and they went to an awesome home but now that we have the fencing all dialed in and the girls are no longer destroying my yard all day I thought I would bring the numbers back up. Plus, who could resist some chicks this time of year.

I brought home one of these...

And one of these...

Not sure how to load video from my phone onto this blog so you can head here to see and hear the sound of spring.

  14. Is the one with the topknot a Polish Chicken?
My parents had Polish Chickens, but they were black with white topknots.
They were very docile and my then seven year old fell in love with one and used to walk around with "Stella" on her shoulder.

  21. I am having the hardest time *not* buying chicks this year - but I have 9 layers (6 just under a year old and 3 that are 2 years old) and I am almost overrun with eggs already, lol. But the little ones are so doggone cute, they're hard to resist. I can't wait to see pics of your peeps ...
