Where I am Hanging

Remember last year when I thought we were going to sell our trailer? Well, we didn't. I have been a lover of camping my whole life but I thought maybe it was time to give hubby a break from it as he works outside and says he camps everyday. I left it up to him and he said he knew how much the kids and I loved the trailer so it stayed with us, unused all last summer.

I have missed it. Q and I have been out there getting her ready for this summer. She will head off for new tires this week and she will be set to go. We have two trips planned this summer so far. Yeah! I am bursting.

You can see a tour of the trailer here.

  2. We "inherited" a camper from my inlaws when they got a new one. Its old and needs work, but I keep thinking: retro! Could be fun :)

  4. We love camping! It's a good thing too, since we're currently living in our 5th wheel while Hubby is working away from home.

Glad you still have the camper and are going to put it to use this summer. (I like all the cute, homey touches you added to it!)

  8. Yay! I'm happy for you that you kept your trailer and have trips planned for the summer. I know how you feel. I love our trailer and getting away in it too. I like the loving touches you've added to your trailer...the Big Bear pillow, the blankets, the bears, etc. Very cute! Looks like a cozy, welcoming, great place to be. Have fun! :-D

  15. Yay! Our trailer hasn't been out of storage for 2 yrs. Makes me sad. We love camping SO much, & camped 4-5 times each season for about 12 yrs. We have just gotten away from it & now my hubs wants to sell ours. I'd love to keep it, so we'll see what happens ;)

  17. How wonderful that you held onto your camper!! I have fond memories of time spent in a camper as a child. My aunt and uncle had a pop up camper that always sat in their driveway and whenever we would visit them all of the cousins would hang out in the camper while the parents did their boring things in the house. LOL!! Such great memories!! Enjoy every moment in it!! : )

  18. I don't blame you for wanting to keep it. We went camping for years in our pop-up when the kids were younger. I want to buy a trailer to go camping with just the husband. Now I just have to convince him to do it:)

  21. There are few things more fun than a camper! It's even an extra guest room for us sometimes. The grand kids love it. Glad you got to hang onto yours!

  22. I sold mine, crying, when my husband died. But without him my life changed and even travel had changed. I considered going alone but never did. I missed it terribly for awhile..but I am all well now and hope the mother and daughter who bought it (older women) enjoyed it as much as we did.
I understand your attachment completely! :)

  24. So fun! I kinda wish we had a little trailer. My husband loves going camping, but I have never really liked the whole setting up and sleeping in a tent part. This is much more my style.
