Holiday Wrap Up; Parties and All

Wow the holidays came and went so fast. We had a whirlwind of parties and family gatherings and really great times. My hubby has two weeks off over the holidays so I really enjoy the time and his help just makes the hectic getting ready so much easier.

So here are a few of us through all the festivities.
On Christmas Eve we attend an annual party at my best friend's house. Their party is the kick off to our holiday happenings.

Before we left the house though we had to check on Santa's where abouts via Norad. Our five year old was really into the whole magical part of the season this year. Great fun
.

Come Christmas morning some much wanted gifts were found under the tree. I love Christmas morning and you can read my thoughts on it here.

After a morning of coffee and bagels we headed to my sister in laws for brunch. I was so happy to have my oldest make it for Christmas day as she had to work late into the night on Christmas Eve.

This year we decided to host a New Year's Eve party dancing and all. We literally moved the house around to clear the den for dancing. It was fun to get the house all ready and look forward to the party. Here I am with my sister in law and one of my daughters. I am short aren't I? I need to wear higher heels or something. I bought my first new dress in years. It was really fun to get all dressed up.

This isn't the best photo of us but it was taken just after midnight but I just love the photo bomb by our friend in the background. Too funny in his party hat and New Year's glasses.
We danced for about five hours total I think and it was so fun. Today for New Year's we were dragging a bit but went to my inlaws for dinner and to celebrate one of my girl's birthdays.

Happy New Year to you all and I will share the rest of the party decor picks on Saturday.
The blog hop returns tomorrow so come back and link up for a hop across nine blogs.
