Weight Loss Update - Down 5.2 Pounds

I have continued to work the plan and am down a total of 5.2 pounds at the end of the second week. My goal is to lose slowly so I am sure the calorie allotment will start to taper off the weight loss and a pound a week at the most is my goal so that I can keep it off.

One thing I love about this weight loss plan is that it really shows how if you blow it one day, you can be really careful the next day to get you back on track. No need to be discouraged because you blew it going out to eat.

We did go to dinner one night and I had a margarita so I ordered a tostada, ate only half and did not get sour cream on top and was able to stay within my calories. I really wanted that margarita!

One day I had coffee at my friend's house and she pulled fresh lemon rolls out and of course I had to have one so I was really careful at dinner time and had a big bowl of my vegetable soup. Filling but low calorie.

So after two weeks, portion control and not getting discouraged are my biggest tips. It really is all about moderation. I don't feel deprived and that is important.

Excellent. Plus you're learning how important it is not to deprive yourself of the things you like by using self control and switching it up on a later meal. Nicely done!

Good job! I'm afraid I'm putting back on some of the 30 lbs I lost :(
