I have gone thru several butcher blocks in my kitchen to aid in food prep as we have almost NO counter space in my old kitchen too! I love your block in the kitchen like that. On Saturday while antique shopping I nearly bought a metal picnic basket exactly like that but it was too pricey for me!Krishttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15578853096888320012noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3504547252988171727.post-71822234080711624482011-10-12T10:58:04.401-07:002011-10-12T10:58:04.401-07:00We only use our microwave (newer model) to heat oa...We only use our microwave (newer model) to heat oatmeal and leftovers. I agree with Olive, although I do have a new microwave and use it once in a while. I had an old one that lasted forever too! I would imagine they are safer now. But I am totally biased as I do not have a microwave in one of my houses and manage just fine without it. Joe only heats coffe at the old house in the microwave and I think thats weird but he is beyond frugal.Olivehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04562775041134498313noreply@blogger.com
