Fall Prims Plain and Simple

I really did manage to thin out some of the fall decorations this year and kept just what I loved. I thought these ceramic pumpkins in the same hue as the crocks just belonged together.

My lineman did most of the decorating. He waits till I go outside with the chickens or something and then keeps re-arranging things.

Then if I don't really like the way he did something, I wait until he goes to work and tweak it if I think it needs changes.

But the best decorating for fall this year is this awesome pumpkin that I GREW MYSELF. Yes, on my gardening bucket list for many years and now I have succeeded in growing a few pumpkins in my city yard. Ain't she a beaut??
I believe it is a Cinderella pumpkin. I have to find the seed packet. I have several more that are still getting the orange color in the garden. Hope to  pick them soon.

Sunny Simple Sunday will be up this afternoon so come back and link up what you have been up to.

Neither of you is to tweak another thing! It's all perfect as it is. Congrats on growing the pumpkin! I find them very difficult to grow and usually wind up buying mine. ~ Maureen

Your pumpkin is beautiful! I'm so envious. If I had a single bit of sun on this shaded lot, I would grow those too. How awesome for your kids to grow up with a mom like you :)

Congratulations on that home grown pumpkin! We just don't have much luck with growing them. Like the way you say you "tweak" those decorations.:)
Have a pleasant fall evening!

Oh hey Elaine!
can't believe I almost missed your pumpkin!
You did it...you grew one!
I think it looks fantastic, too.

I also think it is endearing that your lineman like to tinker around with the decor in your home. You've said that before...and it is sweet. It makes me smile! I'm sure it makes you smile bigger. :)

...he's a closet Decorator, (not to be confused with a CLOSET decorator) ;) Pat

I plant those pumpkin seeds every year and get to the vine stage and then forget to keep them watered. Oh well, maybe next year. Great decorations, love your pumpkin.

I get a kick out of the thought of you and your sweetie rearranging the decor behind each others back! lol. Too cute! I love the pumpkin, I tend to prefer the pumpkins that aren't the typical round ball of orange, Cindarella pumpkins are one of my favorites:>)
