Though we have not had any fall like weather to speak of, there are subtle changes around us. Leaves changing and the sun hanging lower in the sky. I have begun to mix a few fallish items in with my decor.
Warm colors and spicy scents always a must for the season.
Bath and Body finally had the fall scents on sale so I headed in to pick up a few for myself and some as gifts for teachers. This is my favorite this year. Of course I always have my favorite on standby. And don't forget this trick to extend the life of your candles.
Oh to have the weather dip enough to need a sweater in the evenings. I cannot wait!!
I am sharing with Cozy Little House for tweak it Tuesday. And with Marty at Tabletop Tuesday and with Coastal Charm.
I can't wait until you get to wear your sweater!! :)
ReplyDeleteI love your fall touches.. you always make everything pretty!
I love that you work eggs into your vignettes. Very cute and homey!
ReplyDeleteYour decor is so cute.
ReplyDeleteWe had some very chilly weather over the weekend. Today we were to be windy and cold, but it was sunny and 80 degrees. I wore a Fall shirt and was too hot.
I hate to be too cold, but have a change was nice. I just dread Winter. I hope we have a long Fall this year!
Love your vignette with the eggs! My cat would have those on the floor in minutes...toys Mama!! Hugs, Linda
ReplyDeleteI am so looking forward to the cooler sweater weather at least at night. I live very close to you so I know what you are talking about. The huge acreage of pumpkins across the street from me looks burnt up now from this heat. I see pumpkins but they look kind of dismal.
ReplyDeleteYour fall decos are great!

ReplyDeleteIt is hard to get in the fall season here in Cali. Fall comes so late to us. I am tricking my mind as well with a clove spice candle and some pumpkins. You and I share a favorite candle, Country Store, I love that scent. Blessings~Sara

ReplyDeletePretty, pretty! I can't wait either! This heat is awful. But today wasn't too bad. Kind of nice actually!

ReplyDeleteHi Elaine!
ReplyDeleteHow I love your farmhouse style...Whether it's city or country...It doesn't matter where we live cause home is where our heart is!
Thank you for the tip on making the most of our candles. I just can't bear throwing away the sweet smelling wax when the wick is burned down.
I so appreciate your kind visit and comment to my blog. We share so many similar tastes. I just love all of your country touches!
Have a great week!
Blessings,
Carolynn xo
