Chalkboard Car?

One of my daughter's has a friend that is always coming up with crazy things for his car. The latest is a chalkboard hood. Here are two of the girls drawing on the car.

He says he sanded the hood well and just used two coats of spray chalkboard paint. Like my contribution? I am not an artist whatsoever.

Our friend says he leaves a container of chalk on the hood in parking lots and writes a note for others to feel free to draw or leave a message on his hood. How fun!!

  1. What a fun guy he must be!!!!! Sure does look like a nice car he did that to though?
    Everyone loves to graffiti!
Hope your husband is feeling better today!

  2. I am sure he gets some really interesting messages. How fun is this. Hugs, Marty

  3. What a fun idea.

It must be a natural desire to write on blank spaces. My whiteboards in my classroom were always filled with drawings by students and like you they liked writing _ _ _ _ _ was here.

  4. Hey, I think your pumpkin is awesome, and it is definitely *you*!

  5. That is totally different...he sounds like a fun guy! Have a great day!!

  6. I always say, "I thought I have seen it all"...but I guess not. Very interesting idea.

  7. Cute, but I hope he never plans on selling his car!

  8. Wow, it would be interesting to see what people might write when he leaves it in a parking lot. He'll have to attach chalk on a string. :-)

  9. That is so unusual, but cute. What a unique idea.

  10. Thank you for following me! I am following you back - what a great blog.

Oh my sanding the hood of a car and then painting it with chalk paint - I must say the word I think of is

My Happy Page - you can post some happiness too!

  11. That is just the coolest thing!!
Maybe he should market it - love the idea!!

  12. what a great idea!!! that makes fun!
    happy sunday,

  13. That's just awesome! A car is just a car...some people get too freaked out by having crazy, expensive, top of the line cars. They're all the same on the road at night. And how often do you find a dude okay w/ people touching his car!
