The picture says it all. Laptop down. I admit I had something to do with it, but eventually she gave up the ghost. So looking for a new one. Any suggestions?
I work for a computer company and we service around 500+ computers and only 6 or so are MACs. MACs are expensive, the parts to replace things are way over priced and you can get the same operating systems in Dells. Software and hardware are way easier to download as well. I see the pain out techs go thru with MACs and they aren't worth it!
Having done business tech support for years I'd personally go with a desktop. They last much longer and have much more storage. Brand-wise I always advise HP, very good components and durable. Lap tops are built for portability, but not long life. We use Win 7 since Win 8 was so so...
I switch from windows to a MAC, a learning curve but my it's such a better computer!

ReplyDeleteI will never give up my Mac. It was love at first sight and the thrill is still there, more than a decade longer. :)
