Banana Coconut Smoothie

When we have overripe bananas, here is a great way to use them in an easy smoothie recipe. Banana coconut smoothie is a great breakfast idea. A tropical smoothie treat.

Banana Coconut Smoothie

We are making lots of smoothies these days to use up a lot of the fruit that is so plentiful this time of year.

Ingredients:

  • one banana
  • splash of milk of your choice
  • a pina colada flavored yogurt
  • ice (just a few cubes)
  • squirt of  honey
  • couple tablespoons of shredded coconut
  • protein powder (optional)

Add all ingredients to blender and blend until smooth. Enjoy!
