St. Patrick's Day is coming. I bought my corned beef yesterday and two for the freezer. This is the best time of year to buy them too.
Sharing some St. Patty's decor from years past.

That looks really nice - the green checkered napkin makes it!
ReplyDeleteI love your cute green decor! I've never really thought to decoration for St. Patrick's Day for whatever reason. This year, I threw a favorite green pillow on the bed and when my husband asked about it I said it was for St. Patrick's Day. He chuckled and said that was cute! :)
ReplyDeleteI think I'm going to make some Potato Leek Soup for us...that's a favorite recipe of ours anyways and seems Irish enough! I love the corned beef dinner, but the hubs would never go for it.
Blessings,
Leslie
You always create the cutest displays on that section of your wall. I love both of these. Hugs, Marty
ReplyDeleteHi Elaine. I will go get my corned beef today. I like to buy the round. Is that what you get? Have a great weekend! And just what are you and Patty up to?????

That little St. Patrick's corner would cheer me to no end! Love it! And love those jadeite
ReplyDeleteS&P and especially that cracker box. You inspire me (and so do your chickens!)
We eat corned beef all the time we buy it from a middle eastern butcher up the road who give us a bucket to carry it home, the bucket is filled with the brine and we cut it in smaller pieces and keep the other bits in the bucket in the fridge, you can keep it for 3 weeks like this, when it is frozen it's not as nice.
ReplyDeleteI never knew corned beef was connected to St Patricks day.
Merle.........
Remember not to forget your Guinness too! Enjoy. Chel x

Hi, very cute kitchen decor for St. Patrick's day.
ReplyDeleteI've posted some photos of a visit to "Magic Gardens" in Philadelphia.
Hello, Happy Sunny simple Sunday.
ReplyDeleteI've posted some photos of a place we visited last year called " Magic Gardens" in Philadelphia and kept with the green theme in color. It is quite an unusual place, filled with many types of pottery.
We usually go out on Sunday to a local Irish restaurant for the traditional Corned beef and cabbage dinner and watch the performance of the Irish Step Dancers.
Looks great! Not overdone! So cute!
