My daughter was having a friend come to spend the night, so I thought I would make a special Super Easy Valentine Dessert. Here is how to make white chocolate covered pretzels and customize for holidays.
How to make chocolate covered pretzel rods:
Ingredients
- pretzel rods
- white chocolate chips
- some sprinkles (We love these)
- wax paper
- cookie sheet
Instructions
You just heat and melt the chips. I did mine in the microwave and the secret is to not heat them too much or you loose the smoothness of the chocolate. Heat and while the chips still have their shape start and keep stirring. The heat will melt them all and if you need to heat a few seconds more you can.
Then just coat the ends with the white chocolate and sprinkle on some super cute sprinkles and wa-la!
Cool the chocolate pretzel rods in the refrigerator for about a half hour.

ReplyDeleteI love the pretzel idea. I might do that for the treats I make for people who come by the house. I just went through your last few posts about gardening. I love, love, love to garden. Last March we went to San Diego for our vacation. It was wonderful and the best part were all the flowers. It would be fun to live in a place where I could garden all year. Have you ever been to Summer's Past Herb Farm? It was great, and also the Carlsbad Flower Farm. Everything was in bloom. We were lucky to be there at that time of the year.
ReplyDeleteI would love to see pics of your yard. Thanks
What a great idea! I am having a Valentine's Party for my daughters and their friends and this would be perfect to add to the menu, plus they could help with it! I love to garden too and I can't wait for Spring. We have several months still it comes but I am already planning my garden! I am also a new follower and would love for you to follow me back at thefarmgirlrecipes.blogspot.com. Thanks!
