Nothing fancy just me cracking up at my husband sneaking his stuff into my vignettes. He is creative and when he hung this shelf up I gave him a couple things I thought would look good and went to the store. Come back and he has added some of his own touches.
I chose this.
He chose these.
Now, don't think I am stingy with display space as he has cabinets full of those little soldiers. I even gave up a corner cabinet I stored all my crystal in to his collection.
that man has some style going on!
ReplyDeleteI would be thrilled. My husband wouldn't know how to do a vignette if his life depended on it...well, unless he could use a gun...then he probably could figure out something!
ReplyDeleteMy husband has begun to 'tweak', making vignettes too now..LOL. Gotta love our men!
ReplyDeleteA well-placed tractor is a good things -- especially if it is a RED tractor :)

It's wonderful that your husband shares your interest in making your house special. My husband and I share a love of antiques and country stuff, and he usually has something to say about displaying it. Not that I always agree!
ReplyDeleteHe did a good job!
ReplyDeleteI love it, and I wish my husband liked the same things that I do! You know the old Donny and Marie song "I'm a little bit country, he's a little bit rock 'n' roll"? That's us, and if I let him, he'd have guitars up on the shelves with my pottery and picnic baskets!
ReplyDeleteHappy REDnesday,
Carol
Oh my I do love that red tractor. We had one like it, was my brother's from back in the day. I gave it to his daughter, my niece. Your hubby's looks wonderful on the shelf. Happy REDnesday!
ReplyDeleteHe did a good job, and he chose colors to match with yours :) Uh oh, we're all complimenting him, so he may try to take over the decorating when he finds out!
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Marcia
