Tour of Our Little Trailer

Okay, I am going to show you way more than you ever wanted to see of the interior of a little trailer but indulge me as I just adore my little home away from home. Here is a tour of our 25 foot travel trailer. My my happy place.

Like me you may be wondering how do I make my travel trailer cozy? The interior of ours is brown so I worked with that to add some homey touches.
A pillow from Target on our little sofa.

This afghan was made by my mom in the early 80s so it is nice to have a place to display and use it.

A basket of goodies and new marshmallow sticks for making our smores.

The quarters are snug but we spend a lot of time outside. I like to eat outside and do lots of walking followed up by a break in the lounge chair with a cold drink.

This is the reason we bought this trailer, the bunk room. There are four beds in here and the kids can sleep in and are out of the way for those of us who like to get up early. I found the cute fleece spreads on clearance and the are perfect in here.

A basket of games and fun items await the kids. I always pick things up to make the trip fun. I am all ready to go. Wish we were leaving tomorrow.

And my latest little find for the trailer is this enamelware red tea kettle for heating water in the morning for cocoa and tea.
It goes cute with my Happy Camper towel.

  1. Are you kidding me, that's one awesome trailer! My kids would love love love to have something like that. I hope you have the best time ever on your trip. I love the decor, especially that pillow from Target - so perfect for your trailer. And the Scrabble letters - perfect! We'll look forward to seeing pics of your trip when you return.

  3. How cute is that? I really miss our rv. We sold it a couple of years ago and have been looking for another off and on ever since. You did a nice job making it cozy.

  4. You make me miss the camping we used to do when I was little up in the Ruidoso, Cloudcroft, Aspendale, NM mountains. Living in the east nothing compares, at least the places where I've been. Nothing like that pine smell!!! Everybody's about the beach around here, but not me, give my the Rocky Mtns. anytime!! I love your bear decor, I personally loves Moosies, especially at Christmas time :)

  5. Cute camper!
I can't wait to get ours finished to the point of decorating. We've had a set back with Honey's heart attack-- but hope to get back to working on it soon!

As for showing us way more that we'd want to see... I can never get enough of camper interiors or exteriors! I'm always looking for ideas.
my blog for my camper is:

warning: it has lots of recent carshow pictures on there right now-- just for content filler! LOL...

  8. I don't think y'all "rough it" too much, Elaine. This is certainly *not* what comes to my mind when I think about camping. Your camper is too, too cute! Thanks for the tour :D

  11. I love your trailer! It is so cute! I use to be the same way...have our camper all packed up and ready to go. I loved and always looked forward to going camping, which years ago we would go at least 2 weekends out of the 4. I always miss it a whole bunch during the camping seasons for sure. My husband's work schedule doesn't leave much time for going nowadays.

    Blessings,

  12. Oh my gosh Elaine....LOVE...LOVE....LOVE!!!!!! I ADORE it. Oh, did I already say that? I love the way you have it decorated. We are looking for a trailer to purchase one day, instead of our motor home. We like the idea of having your vehicle to scoot off somewhere when you reach your destination. I am so enamored with the vintage trailers too, and would love to even buy one of the little teeny tiny ones and get it all retro'd out just for me!!! I wish I had seen those pillows at Target!!! I love it. And we LOVE Big Bear, and go all the time. I may have to just make one!!!!
    Hugs to you,
    Kris

  25. J has decided "we" want a camper, so we can travel. It is a new decision "we" have made, but since I will sign up for anything, I guess in about six months we will be the happy owners of a camper for two. Only condition is it will have to hold the Harley! Ain't goin' nowhere without it!!

  29. Your trailer is much homier looking than the RV we just rented for a road trip with our daughter and her son-in-law. Even so the trip was much fun and is chronicled in my Road Trip posts. Enjoy your adventures.
