Prim fall decorating.
Be still my heart, the fall decor has started to come out. Got my hair done this morning, the gray is hidden until next time and my sister in law, aka hairdresser, drug me to Country General Store to use our $10 coupons. I went kicking and screaming. Now the house is clean and Quinn is taking a wonderfully long nap so I am having my kicks getting some fall decor on.
Picked up the the white gate and prim pumpkins today.
This little owl came home with me too.
I placed him with some flowers in a green firkin.
Beautiful Fall decorations!!! This makes me want to get mine out :)
ReplyDeleteYour little owl is adorable! I see more stores carrying owls and more bloggers using them in their decor! I'm starting to really like them too...oh no, this could be a new addiction!
ReplyDeleteYour Fall decor is beautiful! I usually wait until Oct. 1st, but I think it's time to bring my tubs down from the attic and get busy decorating!

Hi, Elaine
ReplyDeleteLike you, I've put out a few autumn-themed things. It's nice to get the house looking a bit cozy for cooler days and nights. I like how you've decorated with your blue firkin!
Thank you so much for stopping by my blog and leaving a comment; I'm puttering around the house today too.

Love getting out my Fall decor...I am looking forward to the official start of Autumn! Today I did place the scarecrow in the foyer. Cute owl. Always feels good to get your hair colored, eh? lol~ I color my hair or I'd have a grey streak at my temple/bangs.

Autumn has arrived so beautifully at your house!
ReplyDeleteI just read the post about your friend's mom passing away. So sorry for her loss, and for yours too and the memories it brings back. My parents are both in their mid 80's and have slowed down considerably. Thank you for the reminder to spend more time with them.
Blessings,
Marcia
How cute, Elaine! I noticed the little owl, too. Oh, I took a photo of some cute owls I saw while out shopping last week. I need to email it to you!
