Gobble Gobble

Want to show you a few of my Thanksgiving turkeys. I love to scatter them throughout the house. These two are candles and really pick up the light in my front window.

Just tucked a few on the dining table.

I am in dire need of a new tablecloth. I want a light off white/taupe check and can never find one long enough.

Don't toss your Indian corn. I have had this lot for more than five years. Just store in your house so critters don't get into it.

  9. Oh your turkeys are great! I need to dig mine out. I had some Indian corn for years, and finally had to throw it out after last fall. I didn't get more this season because I never saw any. Plan us a Saturday outing!!!!

  10. Makes me want some turkey and dressing!

Have you ever considered making your own tablecloth? I did that once and was very pleased with the results. They are so easy to make, else I wouldn't have attempted.

  16. HOW do you store your corn, Elaine? Do you put it in Ziplocs or just kind of keep it somewhere out in the open. I tried to keep it one year a while back and it started to mildew around the husks. I can't remember how I had it stored, though, to make that happen. What's your trick to keeping it fresh?
