Decorating with crocks and using them around the house for display is so fun. I love collecting antique crocks and displaying stoneware crocks tucked here and there in our home.
When putting things back after Christmas, I decided to group some of my decorating with old crocks in the dry sink. One of my girlies gave me the little primitives sign for Christmas. The candle lamp below was thrifted from Goodwill. That will be my main source of new stuff for the house for a while as we are putting all extra cash into some home maintenance for now. I do have some gift cards to my favorite store though so I will get to do a little shopping for the house.
The warm colors make decorating with stoneware crocks to cozy.
Tips for decorating with stoneware crocks:
1. Atop cabinets is a great place to display and collect old crocks. Make sure they are stable and will not fall. You can tuck dried or silk flowers in them.
2. On shelves is another great place to display crocks. Use them as book ends as they are nice and heavy. Display crocks in groups of threes for best effect.
3. On the floor makes decorating with large crocks the safest. They are heavy and should be low to the ground. You can fill them with a collection like we did with our rolling pins, a favorite way to display crocks.
I love that dry sink and you have it accessorized so pretty. I will email you tonight...Patty
