I have an area of the backyard that you cannot plant in. Compacted and root bound, I use pots and containers to grow some color. This year it is purple.
You can see how red was my color last year. Here is the same spot and the post from last year.

I love the purple, that's a color I wouldn't have thought of it but it's bright and beautiful. Love the pic of the chick checking it out ;)
