Too Late for Red White and Blue?

Patriotic Decor
A little late for sharing maybe, but who doesn't love some red white and blue?
So on this last day of July we bid adieu to the colors I love most.

Red, white and blue flowers planted for the season. My girls all decked out for our Fourth of July weekend camping. An old coffee can found in the garage becomes a patriotic piece of decor. The house all decked out from Memorial Day to the Fourth of July. George Washington heralding the flag atop Beatrix Potter books. Too funny!

  2. I was at the flea market once and a guy had a whole collection of those cans for sale. We had a great laugh about what our grandparents might have thought, if they had known that their coffee cans would someday be worth $20! It's a great little treasure. Can't wait to see what you are decorating next!

  7. Nice! Beautiful lobelia. And I have always loved little soldiers. Are those resin or metal? - and especially nice touch with them sitting on the Beatrix Potter green. :-)

  9. Elaine, it is never too late for red, white, and blue. Wish my lobelia were still that pretty, but the heat has destroyed it. Yours is beautiful! And your girls are darling. Love the wagon shot!

  12. I say Patriotism never goes out of style and I always enjoy seeing a flag or other symbol of our country at unexpected times. A good reminder that we should appreciate the freedoms we have. Ann
